The inundation depth and other risk information displayed in
this service is based on the storm surge inundation area maps created and
published by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Points of "Maps of Storm Surge Inundation Risk Areas"
  • A typhoon of the country past maximum scale (the Muroto Typhoon order :910hPa) is assumed.
  • A course of the typhoon which makes the biggest storm surge occur to Port of Tokyo is set.
  • A flood at a river is considered simultaneously with storm surge.
  • The worst situation is assumed and the burst by which it's for an embankment is expected.

more details on the simulation conditions of inundation.
